New York, February 11, 2011 – WWD (Women’s Wear Daily and WWD.com), the media of record for the fashion, beauty and retail industries, today introduced the first issue of Beauty Inc. The new glossy magazine is created to be a definitive resource for news, insight and analysis for executives and thought-leaders in the beauty industries. The premiere issue of Beauty Inc, the “Age” issue, features a cover-story, titled “Bridging the Gap,” that profiles 67-year-old supermodel and entrepreneur Lauren Hutton and 20-year-old newcomer Ashley Smith who together represent an open-mindedness and broader recognition that beauty really does transcend age.
